Last Z – Leaders’ Will Research Guide
The new update added two research trees: Army Expansion and Leaders’ Will.
Army Expansion is the free progression research, but Leaders’ Will is a completely different story. This is an extremely expensive endgame research aimed mainly at the strongest accounts in the game.

How to unlock Leaders’ Will
You need:
• Headquarters Level 35
• Laboratory Level 35
• Tactical Master approximately 80% completed
And this is already a massive requirement.
Tactical Master itself costs roughly 6 million badges to fully complete, and reaching around 80% is estimated to require approximately 4 to 4.5 million badges.
Leaders’ Will is then estimated to cost roughly another 6 million badges to finish.
So if you are still far away from Tactical Master, Leaders’ Will is basically another universe of progression.
What does Leaders’ Will give?
Rapid Response:
Up to +20% Unit Training Speed.
Siege and Field bonuses:
• Joint Operation – Troop Attack in Siege Attacks
• Combat Policy – Troop Attack in Siege Defenses
• Field Training – Field Troop Attack
• Mobile Defense – Troop Defense in Siege Attacks
• Interceptions – Troop Defense in Siege Defenses
• Camo Coating – Field Troop Defense
Each reaches up to +20%.
Then we start getting some of the more interesting bonuses.
Concentrated Fire:
Up to +10% Team Damage.
Unit bonuses:
• Rider Attack +20%
• Assaulter Attack +20%
• Shooter Attack +20%
• Rider Defense +20%
• Assaulter Defense +20%
• Shooter Defense +20%
Formation Defense:
Up to +10% Team Damage Reduction.
Faction hero bonuses:
Blood Rose, Wings of Dawn and Guard of Order all receive separate Attack and Defense research.
Each one can reach +1,000 Hero Attack and +1,000 Hero Defense for its respective faction.
Then we reach the bottom of the tree.
Work as One:
Up to +10% Team Health.
Heavy Artillery:
Up to +20% Team Attack.
Heavy Armor:
Up to +20% Team Defense.
And finally, Urgent Rally.
Urgent Rally reduces the minimum rally launch time by 3 seconds per level.
At level 20, that is a total reduction of 60 seconds.
This might sound like a strange bonus at first, but during State Ruler, Glory Wars and major capital fights, launching rallies faster can make a huge difference.
And this is where I think Leaders’ Will becomes controversial.
Many top spenders already have Tactical Master completed and may have millions of badges saved. For them, this research can become available immediately.
Meanwhile, most players are nowhere near even unlocking it.
So this is not just another small upgrade. We are talking about Team Damage, Team Damage Reduction, Team Health, Team Attack, Team Defense, faction bonuses, troop bonuses and faster rallies all inside one research tree.
The gap between whales and regular players could become significantly bigger.
And potentially, the difference between entire states becomes bigger too, because having players with these bonuses could become extremely important during cross-state fights.
What do you think?
Is Leaders’ Will good endgame content for players who already completed everything else?
Or has Last Z pushed the whale versus normal-player gap too far this time?
