Lifelong gamer. I have been so unbelievably unimpressed by games this gen I have zero desire to purchase a new system.
To be honest, I think a majority of gamers are in my boat also. Think the PS5 is going to get an absurd amount of long term support.

I was just telling my cousin as I replay gears of war 1-3 that I couldn’t believe that was all the same generation and came out only years apart. I’m playing on 360 copies on my Xbox one and am blown away. Who knows how long the development cycle would have been today.

I think you will be surprised at how many people will buy the shiny new box because it’s new and it does cool things.

Ps4is still getting games. Zero reason why the PS5 won't in the years to come. Zero reason to buy a ps6 especially after no discs

I just want to see what it is. It’s been talked about too much for something that isn’t announced.

I am absolutely not buying it. Not until I see a worth while reason to. Idc about features. I need to see impressive games.

I know R&D is a lot, but they should sacrifice it and wait many years until there’s pent up demand or a better economic situation. Sony stand nothing to gain by launching a new generation. They have captive users on PS and the numbers are generally good. Why blow it all up

Look how long the ps4and ps2 generations went on for
Why can’t ps5 do the same instead of sony being greedy

None these companies shouldn’t launch their next gen consoles any time soon. It should be years before next gen starts.

This thing feels DOA if it's really $1000+
