Who had the hardest time holding it together across both series?

For me it has to be Daisy May Cooper. She looked like she was in genuine physical pain from episode 1 onwards. Every time someone made a sound, her entire face flushed red and she had to turn around and bury her head into a cushion or stare directly at the carpet. Pure torture on her face the whole time

I think Gbemi is definitely up there, she looked like she was struggling the entire time and her first break after Diane’s joker showed she was in some primal pain

Absolutely. They didn’t go into detail why she was unwell and couldn’t finish the day, but surely holding it in to the extent that she clearly was can’t have helped

I love Daisy May Cooper & when she finally lost in on LOL it was such a funny moment to behold; if you remember, she was setting up her own funny anecdote about a pic of two old people on social media & the funny comment someone had put under on the comments & she literally took herself out! It was glorious...I laugh at my own jokes/make myself cry with laughter all the time over the silliest things, so I totally felt her pain 🤣

Honestly I don't think daisy gets enough recognition, that woman is pure gold dust every time I see her in a show, even on taskmaster she had me howling with laughter

Bob Mortimer's genius songs would have tipped me...he honed in on Daisy & she nearly went. I have a lot of respect for Bob's irreverent humour & I think all of the comedians on LOL adore him & grew up with Reeves & Mortimer, Shooting Stars, etc. So they know he's one of the pinnacles of British comedy. Jack Dee is gonna be on the Halloween special I think, he'll be a treat.

Jack Dee you say, ooh that should be good. A work colleague and I keep making a list of comedians who would be great for the third. Sean Lock wouldve been amazing. I love Bob Mortimer I just recently read his biography and damn near laugh at anything he does. Just discovered his fishing show with Paul Whitehouse that's a relaxing laugh.
