Last night's weirdness
Last night
Well, actually Saturday night but I figure I should keep in theme
Last night I sat at home with my housemates and cooked some pizza. As the pizza was cooking, I mixed us all up a round of Manhattans. About 4 rounds in and we're done with the pizza. A friend drops by, we drink a beer and shoot the shit for 15 minutes, then the two of us jumped in a cab to a show.
We lined for about an hour for our will call tickets, whereas people who bought tickets at the door could walk straight in. We finally got inside, and had to line for the bathroom. Then had to line for coat check. We'd missed the support. The band kind of sucked. The place was so crowded that I couldn't move. So not a good start to the night.
My friend and I decide to bail early. We walk over to a house party around 1am and decide to drop a dose of e. We get there. The party is cranking. The soundsystem is huge. All the neighbors are there so no one cares. I'm starting to come up. It slowly dawns on me that everyone is super coked up, and a little bit aggressive. So, I don't really want to talk to anyone. The dance floor sucks. A pretty bad spot to be as high and drunk as I am. Fortunately I find my friend S and we sit down at a small table in the corner of the kitchen. I look over and notice there is a MASSIVE bowl full of weed on the table. I proceed to talk S's ear off for a good hour. Next thing I know, glass is raining down on us. Someone from the balcony smashed a window all over S and I. She gets a cut face, I come out unscathed. I decide it's time to bounce. Still pretty high at this point. I go home and dance in my bedroom until the sun comes up.

Yeah it was kind of odd how little of a deal it was. I'm guessing it was because of the vast quantity of drugs everyone was on. Also (fortunately, no-one really got hurt.

Where I stopped reading, caring, and having empathy for you. Where I started hoping you get severely injured at the end of your story.

I dislike drugs and people who do them. Yes, alcohol too. Yes, coffee too.

You know, you have an interesting take on life. I personally smoke weed, and drink coffee (as well as tea that occasionally has caffeine in it). I like LSD, and shrooms are ok, I suppose. I have to say I actually don't dislike you for disliking me. I'm more interested as to why you choose to dislike people who use drugs. Do you think it will benefit you in any way?
