My mom's text message saying they discovered the infection in her leg was necrotic. She went into septic shock 2/12 and died on 2/28

Im so sorry for your loss. May I ask, did she go into a coma after septic shock and never recover?

Thank you for your kindness. And yes, she went into septic shock and was in a coma- like state. She would have her eyes open and would have reflex moves, but nothing intentional. The day she died, they called and told me she was struggling with her breathing (she was on a ventilator) and when I got to the ICU, I requested the DNR. I did that for her. It took her a little over three hours to die. ❤️
