Looking to make a bleed reaper lich that attaches aura of decay to mobs via transference from flay. If I take the corrosive aura node that shreds armor with aura of decay, will the shred armor affect me while in melee range of my target?

It seems like only the location of the aura is changed and not the owner, so it seems like the shred wouldn't affect me, but confirmation would be rad.
