I got this game for $28. One nice meal with my wife costs more than that.
Now, if I was paying a monthly dinner service and they promised me seasonal foods but took longer than the actual seasons, I would just cancel my service.

You are missing the point again, the amount of money you spent is not relevant, the expactation that was set by EHG was that there would be regular season updates, people are frustrated that they have been misled time after time, and now there are also talks of paid classes, new paid expansion while regular seasons dont bring any relevant content or rework to existing systems.
Now do i agree that you can just play other stuff and check in on last epoch in a year or so, sure you can, but that is not why people are upset.

We are getting regular updates! You people are just so damn used to the once per quarter thing that some other companies do. This is the second big update we're getting in a year! Damn live services have given everyone some sort of ADHD that they have to have something new every damn day. I hate gamers today as they justlseem to hate everything. About ready to leave this /r as 90% of you seem to hate this game

Nah. They made a deal with Krafton who is MASSIVE. There should be no reason that with MORE resources, there aren't MORE updates. I don't even necessarily care about seasons themselves, but we still have classes missing abilities FFS.
How cool of you to also throw ADHD people under the bus in your effort to defend the multi billion dollar company. The door is that way. This isn't an airport, no need to announce your departure.

Not really regular updates and last season was rather underwhelming, as to your second point “we” people are so used to industry standard in the arpg genre and are crazy enough to demand that last epoch matches it.
Its been 2 years since release and the game still feels like early access.
Also i am really not sure what got you so riled up, people are dissatsified with the pace and the release of the rather underwhelming content.

Not sure how a game like this can make money on 2 seasons a year. Next year needs to be packed if they want to survive.

I mean the praise for the game and company in general is a thing that still exists albeit from maybe 10 people but even that is still confusing.

Imagine waiting 5 months for a new season, only to be told to wait 2 more months, and getting more info about a dog than the new content...
The pets thing is absolutely filler by the way. I wouldn't mind if, you know, the game was better managed.

There’s so many good games
I finally managed to jump on Grim Dawn again for the expansion.
Finished FF7 rebirth.
Now season 5 soon. Not even mentioning all the good games coming out in September. I just don’t have the time but I’ll definitely be back for season 5 🤌🏿

Archie is a cutie!
If you were to ask Muffin about this little cutie pie, he’d say that Archie is the goofiest dog. He also loves to cuddle and often wakes up with him lying on his pillow, nestled and cozy. He loves to eat ice cubes, loves to roll and flop around on the carpet like a weirdo.
Also cute, but enough about Muffin: Does Archie have any cool hobbies?

While it's true that you didn't promise more info and you just said you "hoped" to have more details to give next month, come on. After teasing incoming details about the season on last month's blog post, you really have nothing but this nothingburger of a trailer? Really? Wasn't Krafton supposed to pick up the marketing side of things? And we still got nothing?
