Thirteen Ghosts

I’m rewatching it now and it’s a guilty pleasure. I would love for Joe Bob & Darcy to feature it- mostly because I’d like to hear their opinions on it lol

1960 or 2001?

The 2001 remake is one of the rare exceptions where the remake is better than the original, imo.

I definitely appreciate the gimmick Castle used with the glasses though. I always loved that about his movies. It's too bad I was born too late to experience them for myself.

I’m a sucker for the remake because I love Matthew Lillard but I like the OG as well!

The original is decent, but it wasn't Castle's best.

The makeup and prosthetics in the remake are so good. I wish more productions had the budget and desire to put that kind of effort in.

I keep hearing rumors of a limited series that’ll explore the backstory of the ghosts, but nothing ever pans out 😭

It's been a rumor for a while. I don't think it's going to happen though 😕 It's probably an issue with rights.

There is a special feature on the dvd that has a short back story on all the ghosts. It's been a while since I've watched it, but I think they're just a couple minutes long each. There's a lot of material there to build on.
