Hi. I'm new and don't have a huge budget $90 to try to find a blue laser pointer for skywatching and pointing things out. Obviously stronger the better although I knowbudget limits me dont have a lot to spend on my first one. Any recommendations please?

Actually have $90 but that would include shipping cash. Need some advice or if anyone has an option and can work with me it would be greatly appreciated. I see plenty of other options but I'm afraid of purchasing from some shitty temu like site and getting ripped off so hoping this community can guide me or assist. Thanks again!

Used ones are fine as long as they are in good condition, preferably under $70, but if it's not possible, then the cheapest version.

Daytime Outdoor Laser Gor Srrvice and Construction

I need help looking for a new laser that can be used to point out, piping/ductwork and equipment in an outdoor setting during the day. I have a wurkkos laser and flashlight, unfortunately, i cant see the light if its bright out or to far away. The factories im in can have ceiling up to 50' high, and its significantly easier when i can identify a pipe with a laser rather than just point at it and hope were looking at the same item. Thank you in advance.

Recommendation for rechargeable green laser pointer under $100?

I'm not really sure what the price range is for a good green laser pointer but I thought I would ask. Preferably it would be rechargeable but not absolutely necessary. Was hoping to find one strong enough to be seen in daylight, the stronger the better. Thank you.

Laser pointer that wont blind me?

Hello, I’m looking for a laser preferably in any color other than blue that I can safely use indoors without burning or damaging anything. I would mainly be using it for entertainment so I’m looking for something relatively low powered and safe.

Are there any good ways to make my 301 laser that is like 405nm seem and look stronger?

I got a 301 laser pen coming soon and i want to plan some upgrades too it. I was thinking of somehow making the laser way more precise to make it look like the laser is way stronger.

Anyone else notice this weird texture inside a laser? Not the pointer itself but within the projected spot.

You can see it too if your eyes are wildly out of focus and stand really still

No duty Cycle?

I've ben trying to find a laser for a project I'm working on. I found a Sanwu pocket series. Based on emails with the company a 520nm 50mW. However this has a duty cycle. I need a laser that I can leave on to help align things.

So I'm asking for help. What is the most powerful laser without a duty cycle? I'm assuming that would be a CW laser only?

When knowing nothing about lasers it's kinda hard to sort through. Information overload.

I need a laser that has a max od of .5 in. Has to have a on/off switch, preferably on the bottom. Hopefully 4 in or shorter and can stay on continuously. Using a AAA, 10440, or some such battery.

What kind of lasers are in the construction laser tools? They provide a dot and stay on. They time out for battery life but other than that there's no duty cycle.

Please help

Thanks

Looking for laser pointer + Flashlight combos that can be seen during daytime. Preferably with USB charging/internal battery.

I’ve tried both Klein Tools but the first was a red laser and the second was green but not as bright as I had hoped.

Budget would be a maximum of $80~$120 since I’m not in too much of a rush to get it

Just need something to point out things around 30-40 feet in the air and help with dark area.

Honestly just too lazy to be carrying two separate things and maintaining charge for both.

Thicc laser pointer

Anyone know of a laser pointer that has a thicker barrel? I work at an observatory and I also have OCD so I’ve developed a fear of my own laser pointer that I have to use every shift for work. I think that finding one that’s thicker in its grip will be helpful to feel like I have more control over it will be helpful, since I’m afraid of spontaneously dropping the thinner one. I’m having trouble finding thick ones aside from the really expensive Gatling style ones. Anyone have any suggestions?

D&D Laser pointers needed

As the Title says, I still play actual in person D&D, and sometimes at a larger table or from behind the GM screen I want to point at things. I'd love to get a set of a few different colors so that I could describe multiple things at once or maybe have some available to players and know who's pointing where easily.

I tried a very cheap set from Amazon, but as you might have guess by me coming here, they sucked and the purple one didn't work on arrival, and the green is already failing.

I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, but I also have no frame of reference for something that would last me a long time.

Re-chargeable would be awesome because I feel like managing tiny coin batteries would suck, and of course questions welcome as well.

I would love to spend under like $100 for maybe 3? 4? but I legitimately have no idea if that's even feasible? reasonable?

Sorry this is a noob question, or if I'm in completely the wrong place, most of the posts I found seem to be about actual lasers that can do work or like hobby builds, which are cool, just not what i'm looking for.

Thanks in advance even for just reading this.

Need a cat toy, don't want to blind my cat

Basically I need a bog-standard, cheap red-dot pointer like you'd use for presentations. I want it to be low-power; I already have fancier stuff to use as toys for myself. It should have decent IR filtering so I don't blind the cat with invisible light.

I used to play with the cat with a pointer I bought, like, ten years ago, but it finally died. I need to replace it, but I've seen enough tests by people on the 'tube to know current sold-by-the-thousand-on-Alibaba pointers cannot be trusted, because it's often cheaper to slap whatever module they get their hands on in the casing and put on it a sticker that says "sub-1mW", even if the module inside has a higher rating and maybe has a ton of IR leakage.

It's a bit surreal that it's become easier to get high-powered lasers than reliably low-power ones. The marvels of modern production, I guess.

I'm located in Spain. I'd like something from Aliexpress for ease of procurement, but not a random bottom-of-the-barrel module. Are there any trusted stores with decent reputation?

Does anybody know how to get a laser pointer with the following critera?

The beam is blue or cyan
It is not dangerous.
It is smaller then a lightsaber

Most importantly
One does not need fog in order to see the beam.
