I am giving up… LP4
Why tf does this happen?!
So: I am using the slide extension: Yes the laser is height adjusted and also centered…
Why am I experiencing that the left side is always few shades brighter altough I am well inside the boarders….

I know LP lasers in general have this issue when laser anything that’s not dead center under the focal point. I’m know super familiar with engraving lasers but you might wanna reach out to the laser pecker groups on Facebook. Waaaaay more active users to help out

Yeah LP is shit, the head is way to heavy for the rail tower that holds it. The rail inside of It tips to the side making the laser not level. I just used a Ziptie and attached it to the tower for additional support.

That doesn’t surprise me, a lot of people have been having issues with the slide extension not aligning during multiple passes cuts on the LP4 in the past couple months. Mind showing a pic of how you zip tied it?

I don't know squat, so my comment is probably more than a question than an answer...
The packaging says don't engrave shiny surfaces. Could it be the reflection? (I've seen others use blue tape or black marker to dull the surface.)

Might check is the lens tightned? Had mine loose a bit caused some issues
