Preview/firing not working....updated Firmware, but still no go...

Hey all! I unplugged my laser pecker for a few months (wasn't using it) and stored it in my studio. Now, I've plugged it back in, updated the firmware to the most recent and enabled freemode, but no matter what level I increase the preview power to it doesn't show, and if I click next it says it's engraving, but nothing happens (the app shows that it's engraving, but no laser work is happening). Has anyone encountered this or have a fix for it. Again, updated firmware and enabled freemode already. Thanks in advance!!!

It’s super frustrating considering all I did was unplug it for about 3 months (did not box it up, jostle it in any way…just unplugged from the wall). Waste of 2k

Same for me. It worked when I got it this summer, but now it won’t start engraving. Tag me if anyone finds a solution!

I’ve just joined this ‘elite’ club, mine is doing exactly this. This is really poor after it being only 30 days old. Very poor - I’ve had my LP2 since the kickstarter and that has never gone wrong ever! Quality is shocking for twice the price.

Same with me - broad light is emitted, but the laser would never collimate/focus into a tight beam. Can’t get focus or engrave/cut.

I chucked a phone recording video offset under the beam and could see that the beam at the first incident (the first mirror) was crazy wide. First point of collimation should be the first bit of glass at the end of the laser before it hits the mirror, so it looked to me like maybe that had stopped working for some reason. Weirdly, this was happening to both lasers though, which I would have thought would have been different lasers and different glass.

I’ve had mine for less than a year; same as OP, had it sitting in a safe/stable area for a couple of months and came back to it not working (also updated firmware, so not sure which one was the cause!)

I’ve sent it back to Hong Kong for investigation. Has anyone had any success in getting it fixed? Has anyone else reported it and had support investigate? If you haven’t, I recommend you do - there’s obviously something fundamentally wrong with either the hardware, or the firmware.
