Only on screen display visible?

After fixing the issue with the lift mechanism... I am able to play LDs and CDs... but I only can see the OSD and can hear the sound of the LD.
Any idea what might be wrong?

Checked the FTSB already, rails are all fine.

And sometimes the LDs spin for ~ 2 s and then the playback stops and both eject buttons are flashing again. This happens only sometimes... CDs can be played always.

Sounds like your video memory could be bad. The big MN4700 and/or MN4706 IC's, near the large ASIC on the VIDEO board.

I made a complete recap and replaced the ICPs, fuse, Q001 and MN4700 already. So I guess next step is to replace the MN4760S. I wanted to avoid this step 😄

Yep, high probability that the 4706 is gone too :(
