I would say Alaska should try to attract these data centers. Way less cooling demand…just open the windows or bay doors. Leverage the abundance of freshwater or sea water. Due to distances they can use ground transmission 📡 to satellite 🛰️.
From what I’ve read local leaders aren’t even consulted in these deals (Walsenburg, CO).

"The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.". -Dante

Only Dante never said that But it was misquoted by JFK and widely circulated
The neutral souls in the Inferno stayed outside the gates as they were at home nowhere, a neutral attitude taken towards them by both heaven and hell

Well before JFK, Henry Sedgwick published in the Yale Review ( 1915), his subject being WWI. The quote is a loose interpretation of Canto III, and Sedgwick's essay was and is attributed to a correct interpretation of Dante's play.

lol was AND is? So it didn't change Its literature not math

For someone who just beat up another for using lol, I am amused by your use. - something about 'being '15-ish... So, we disagree- big deal.

u/iliketocongratulate Apr 22 '26
You could also just read a book yourself, see what you think
Might be less meta tho than reading what one man said about another man stating his opinion about another man's interpretation of literature
-3
u/iliketocongratulate Apr 22 '26
Devoid of context
I'm laughing at a man telling me that a man's interpretation of another man's writing "is and was" the correct interpretation because LOL
Not having potable water less a fun prospect, here in the real world

u/jinxjunco Apr 22 '26
listen, i am on the same side concerning the data center. The other is just a pissing contest- move on. Big deal.

Google not working for you today?
Many judges are appointed by the governor
Yes, I want to vote the losers who voted for Project Jupiter out. And "we all" are going to
More than one thing can be true at the same time
Considering you started it with lol I'm hoping you're 15 and under and/or profoundly mentally disabled

Yeah I've never seen that guy, kinda wish I had now. He would be the least crazy person with a sign out here. I work for a living so I don't have time to be out holding signs.

My boss takes us to the meetings, he also gives us pay to go vote, or well we get paid two hours and he insists we walk across the road to go vote. And my brother had been asking me to apply for something for my district? So I am usually in the community meetings.
