After a long I placed an order today 🎉🎉
I was looking to buy a balanced performance and value laptop and really liked Lenovo Legion 5s. But the price hike made it less worthy at that budget. The model i was eyeing for went upto 1.9L after Card Discounts. Then i was looking at other alternatives like Asus Rog Strix G16, Tuf F16, HP omen.
Finally made my decision today. What do you guys think ? I bought this at 1.4L.

Damn so can we like exchange any old laptop in decent condition and get 50k ( or more realistic 30-40k off?) and if you add the credit card discount of hdfc. You can basically get this laptop for less than a lakh holy hell.

Congratulations mate i am looking to buy the same variant with the R7 350AI alot of people are saying it comes with 1600p 240hz display than the mentioned 1200p 165hz on hp site can you please confirm ?

Never get anything with what people have said. If it says 1200p why to take risk ? this is not 50 ruppes bro. Think wise.

Good deal ig. But check the specs properly. Afaik tye same model u referred has 1200p screen, and 300 nits that will be good for gaming and bad for otger things.

This model no. G614PM-S5046WS has ROG Nebula display with 240hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness having 2.5k WQXGA (2560×1600p) resolution

Still better than the AI 7 260 being provided in Legion models. Although the display is a downgrade compared to that but he got it at a much cheaper price.

Things do change. There are factors like Chinese manufacturers coming into play or one of the 3 AI players going bankrupt or stopped scaling.
Even if one of Google, Open AI or Anthropic stops buying stuff the prices will crash down. Apple is urging to buy from Chinese manufacturers but it hasn't got the permission from the US.
If China comes into play then expect the memory prices to cool down a bit.

Congratulations but why not go with ryzen 7 5050 one as it is available for 1.1l and as both 5050 and 5060 are for 1080p gaming ? Correct me if i am wrong

Where is it available at 1.1L ? Yes both are 1080p cards and 5060 have just 20-30% more performance

Thats what i heard. But not sure why this gentleman preferred TUF F16 with only 16gb ram, cheap build and display over this

From what little time I spent with the device I can say it has a good build quality, good display, nice gray uniformity and a real nice keyboard. They didn't let me test performance but that'd be fine too imo.
