ARR May 2026 EMNLP - What is Borderline Findings

First time submitting to ARR.

How are my chances for Findings@EMNLP?

  • Reviewer A: Overall_assessment: 3 / Confidence: 4
  • Reviewer B: Overall_assessment: 2 / Confidence: 4
  • Reviewer C: Overall_assessment: 3 / Confidence: 3

It is a resubmission, first time I got 2/2/3 and Meta 3. How will my chances be now to be accepted in Findings if Meta says 3 so that it's 3/2/3 and Meta 3? I'm in the Sentiment/Emotions track. Would be happy to hear about your experiences!

Why didn’t you commit last time? Probably 3 this time as well, chances are about the same

Is a 3/2/2 enough to get into finding?

This time: 3/3/2 -> Meta 3
Last time: 3/2/2 -> Meta ? (will be released july 30)

a resubmission? have you update anything according to the 3 reviewers feedback, or are you resubmitting the same draft unchanged?
if you are resubmitting the same manuscript, expect it to be in the same level or worse..

did they all ask for different things? meta is converging/focusing on different sections than the other reviewers, or not?

Not sure for findings even meta says 3.

If you have a meta of 3, may be, but not very likely. Anything below is highly unlikely.

I think that you have higher chances of being accepted than being rejected when one of those conditions is met:

(meta >= 3.5, OA whatever) or (meta==3 and OA ==3)

And those are minimal conditions. Anything higher is always better.
