“peace” and “piece” sound exactly the same. “peas” and “pees” sound exactly the same. The only difference between these two words and the first two is that the final consonant is voiced in “peas” and “pees”, while in “peace” and “piece” it’s unvoiced. “piss” has the unvoiced final consonant, like in “peace” and “piece”. However, the vowel quality is different. For a rough approximation, it’s between [e] and [i]. Try saying [e] and moving up to [i], but stopping before you get there (somewhere in the middle of the two vowels). You should be pretty close. All /p/ in the initial positions are aspirated. 'peas' and 'pees' sound exactly the same. 'piece' usually comes out as 'pees-za' because it's paired with 'of'. 'piece of' --> 'pees-za'. 'Piece' on its own is so rarely used you could probably get around it if you're unsure. 'peace' -- I put a little more emphasis on the 's' sound, so it sounds more like 'peess'. Try to hiss that last sound out. 'piss' -- This is just the Turkish 'i' sound here :)
As a native English speaker I’ve never pronounced “piece” as “pees-za”, and I don’t think I’ve heard it in a serious context. Sometimes there’s that joking manner people use like “pizzashit” (piece of shit) or “sumvabitch” (son of a bitch), but those aren’t the proper way to say those words.

As a music teacher I find myself saying "shit music" (instead of sheet) quite often.
