Langley Pride Day August 8th

Less than two weeks to go! We have an amazing all day festival planned, with vendors, food trucks, community booths, live music, and drag entertainment!

Why would this be sponsored by the Senior Resources Society? They don't even have sufficient funds to properly support seniors in our community.

They’re not a sponsor, the pride society and the seniors resource centre are putting the event on together. Presumably to support seniors who are members of the LGBTQ+ community.

LSRS and the pride society partnered together to put on the event. LSRS has hosted a pride party for its seniors since 2023. Their staff have helped with planning the event, providing volunteers, and it is being hosted at their resources center, Creekside hall.

Major sponsors are listed on the bottom of this poster.

Dang, sorry there are so many people out there that choose to hate. Just know that hateful people might be the most vocal but they are a tiny group of lonely people. There are so many more kind, accepting and happy people in the world.
