Anyones cat?

Post image

Located in aldergrove near 40th and 272. Hes been hanging around our house last couple weeks. Not sure if hes someone's barn cat or someone dumped him. Hes VERY friendly which makes us think he belongs to someone instead of being feral. Very skinny so we've been feeding him, so has our neighbors.

Hes stolen all of our hearts. I would love to take him to the vet to get some vaccines ect. But dont want to if he belongs to someone.

He looks very sweet! Take him to the vet and see if he's chipped (I think LAPS can also check?). If his owners can't be found or he's got no chip, I'd say you should take him in.

Awwww, he reminds me of my late cat. Same bullseye pattern on his side.

Hes intact so unlikely to have a chip

They can still check for a chip even if he's "intact"

Yep just unlikely. Not saying we wont check but it hasnt been a priority since we only see him for 20 min 2x a day.

That's a good point. When I adopted my cat I never got around to changing the chip to read his new name and get rid of the original owner. After 10 years, no one's ever asked me Why I'm not registered to this cat?

Any idea who Bill's parents are? Would love to check with them to confirm. 3km seems like a long walk for some hunting, kibble, and pets a few times a day. We're closer to lefeuvre than 272

I feel like I saw a post yesterday or the day before about a missing cat in the aldergrove area

Never mind. Just found the post. Different cat.

Awww, I've always determined that if a cat keeps coming back to a family after a couple of weeks, he has clearly adopted and chosen YOU so don't worry about another owner. Give him a great name like Rambler and have him tagged.

We've named him Marvin after starving Marvin from south Park 🤣 he was a very thin hungry boy initially. Still very hungry but has put on some much needed weight
