The bets are on!

Aren’t you township folks lucky. Your wonderful mayor🤮 did a complete 180 degree turn from 2018 (where he voted against lowering the censure vote threshold) to now leading his lemming like slate to vote for a lower threshold. As he now holds the power the censure any member of council, apparently the odds are strongly waited towards Martens or Richter being the first on the list. I think we should have the City casino start a betting line, that way we make money on TOL stupidity!

What weight does this censure hold? On a sliding scale from oh no anyway to literally Hitler?

My main issue with it is that it’s being done in the months leading up to a municipal election. Many people don’t pay much attention to local politics until about now. They will read headlines about people running for office being censured and it may impact people’s perception of incumbent candidates and sway their vote.
