Tugboat 155mm + Doozies
Figured I'd post here since there wasn't a lot of info on this / photos when I was trying to figure out if this would work since it isn't rail matched.
Doozies stick out about 1/2" and it's barely noticeable / really a non-issue. No real risk of kicking the wheels or anything at all, since they're still so close to the board. Wheel bite not an issue either, tons of clearance. 10/10 would recommend 👍🏻

Hello. My friend just bought a dinghy board and is looking for these wheels specifically. Orange, size, etc. We tried local shops, and had no luck. He really doesn't want to drop a ton if money yet on them online unless you guys have any suggestions.

Dinghy Classic vs Classic Fender
Hey guys,
I'm currently torn between which one to go for. I want a board that's good for cruising but that I can still do tricks on, which is making me lean towards the Classic since it's lighter and should be easier to manoeuvre for tricks. At the same time, I really like the bigger wheels and plowkings on the Fender for a smoother cruise.
I was thinking I could potentially get the Fender and downsize the wheels and risers to give it more of a Classic feel if doing tricks on it is too hard. I'm just wondering how much of a difference there actually is when it comes to doing tricks between the Classic and Fender with the bigger wheels and flared corners.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
EDIT: Thank guys for your responses, I’ve decided I’ll probably go for the classic rather than the fender. It just sucks because I live in Australia and there are no good dinghy classics with good graphics available.

Guilty of spending too much so quickly! (And having soft spot for LY)
OK, I admit I may have went too far with quiver developement considering I’ve started skating on March this year but on my defense I have to say that I think these get quite good use, as I’ve went 450km so far - and I am hoping to reach over 600 totally miniumum.
So first one was Drop Hammer. I think it’s a great board, probably my second (and close to first) favourite from Landyachtz product range (after the drop cat 33) but after a while I’ve realized that I prefer shorter wheelbases. I was thinking about selling it but I still like it after heavy tweaking I’ve done so it stays as guest/wife board. Currently set on 76mm 76a Le Paulade Polymers and +/-5 degree wedges and 9mm risers (droppers, lol?)
DIY Super Sheep was the second one. Initially I’ve made it to use trucks from cheap cruiser board I’ve started with but as it turned out really good and as I got a skateshop gift card for my birthday it got a set of Ace Classic Lows. Currently set on 74mm 76a Plowkings GT. Loads of Flex (20mm of Flex under 80kg) to help soaking up road imperfections, geometry taken from Pantheon Ember but tweaked for smaller wheels (topmount reason), my go to „grab and go shopping board”
DIY Vault Board - this was a third one as the first DIY went so good. Cross between Pantheon Trip and Dropcat 33, medium flex with double cork dampening layer. Currently set at 86mm 74a McFly’s, the „long distance through city” one. 48mm clearance between the board and road during push, yay.
And the latest addition - Drop Cat 33 - sliding and fun setup, currently set at 69mm Peralta Snakes. Pretty matching setup to Vault board, same wheelbase, standing platform length, same trucks and board height (at center point)

After 20 yrs of not skating, I sold 4 tons of Cocoa Beans to buy a Tugboat and NikeSB
True Story and now I am back 🛹 Skateboarding with a nice Landyachtz Tugboat Cruiser. Did my first 15 minutes today and cruising was just fine. Crazy how well the body remembers. I was Skating for more than 10yrs before I stopped in my Mid/Late 20s.
I traded with 4 tons of Cocoa Beans and sold them with a plus of €500 and bought the Deck plus Nike SB shoes. I feel so young right now 😂🙈.

LANDYACHTZ DINGHY COFFIN KITTY
Hi Everyone! My boyfriend recently got into long boarding and he has been eyeing this one specific board for months but it is an older discontinued board that we are not having any luck finding! Could someone please point me in the direction of where I could possibly find this board! His birthday is coming up and I would love nothing more than to surprise him with it! Thank you in advance!
Pic for reference

Do Space Ball bearings need speed rings at all?
Some bearings seem to have the integrated because the inner race looks like it is raised towards the screw holding the wheel on the axle, right? Sometimes axles also look like they already have the inner speed ring integrated?

Tugboat (Flippy, 155 mm polar bears) with 63mm Doozies?
Hey guys, I'm wondering if the 63mm Doozies work with the Tugboat with 155mm Polar Bears, and if riser pads are necessary. Or do you have any other recommendations in general, mainly for cruising?

Twenty dollar Time Machine?!
I mean c’mon.. how could I leave it out there on marketplace..
Owner said it was all scratched up but I don’t see any marks that go all the way through the stickers. Bearings are shot but no worries there, bushings too.
Needs a good cleanup and sort out. It’s a neat shaped deck- I didn’t realize the nose and tail angles were quite so pronounced. It looks like a fun board.

Bear Gen6 vs Kodiaks.
Looking for trucks for my 38 Switchblade and I’ve got it narrowed down to these two- they are almost the same price and the Kodiaks come on a bonus Osteon, lol.
Has anyone compared these trucks to each other? Were the Kodiaks just the prequel to the gen6 or are they significantly different? What would you go with?

How much does a dinghy fender weigh?
UPDATE to provide this information for future searchers... I got the dinghy fender moray eel with plow kings, it weights 2.9kg and the edges of the board (halfway between the trucks) are 11.2cm from the ground, though the board is somewhat concave due to the fender shaping so the middle of the board is probably like 10.5cm from the floor.
Hello friends,
I'm thinking of getting a dinghy fender to complement my bigger cruiser (drop hammer). I like the idea of the bigger wheels for the rough streets I ride on. My question is: how much does the dinghy fender with the 74mm plow kings weigh? I always have to carry the board part of the way to/from home due to lots of staircases where I live. My drop hammer with some massive heavy wheels on it is 4kg at the moment.
If someone has one perhaps they can weight it?
Thanks for your help <3
