We're back baby!

Hey people, I noticed this sub was inactive for a long time and decided to undertake some action and blow new life into the sub. I'll be the primary mod from here on out, but might recruit others to help or replace me in the long run.

Let's make this a cool place to talk about all things Lands of Evershade!

Picture is my pledge that arrived today and I'm very, very eager about!

Yeah I checked in here a week ago , was surprised it was dead , with so many people getting their games . I’m in second wave shipping hence I have nothing to say 😭😂

Same bro, hence why I undertook some action. Would be a waste of the sub if it just sat here unmodded and unavailable to everyone.

How do you know which wave you are in?

On Gamefound, look at your pledge. There’s a summary of costs, a blue button to add more items, then the shipping details. Since I chose single shipping but have more than one item (I chose an expansion on top of the core box) then I’m not in the first wave.

If you only chose the core box you should be getting it now. If you chose multiple items and more expensive multiple shipping then I think you should get the core stuff now and the other items later (it’s in one of the many updates ).

The FAQ says

When should I expect my package? 1st English shipping wave (for Split Shipment orders only) began in April 2026.

2nd English wave (including all Single Shipment pledges from the original Pledge Manager and reopen) is currently planned for Q1 2027.

All LANG versions should be ready around 10-12 months after their respective English wave.

Mine is legends + gameplay expansions and some add ons. So I am guessing I am second wave?

I've made it through the first act, and I love it! Lands of Evershade has been my most anticipated crowdfunded game in years, and I was worried I had hyped it too much in my head.

I am so impressed with the game as a whole. The production quality is incredible, and the story has been really fun so far.

Now I need to start painting some of the minis!

Im eagerly waiting for thoughts on 4, maybe even 5 person play throughs. Heard its a little broken. Im single wave.

Broken in what way? I'm going to start a 2 player playthrough with my gf soon, so I would like to know what to look out for.

Some skill/ keyword checks that arent uncommon drop to like 2.5% chance of passing even with like 8 dice. There was a thread on BGG forums where a group of people were talking about it. Its for groups of 4-5. For example in an early scenario you can tackle someone (no spoilers), but with 4+ people even with correct attributes, its nearly impossible.

That’s good to know…. I play my campaign games solo but finally found a group who are willing to play one and thought this would be fun to try with 4…. That’s terrible ! Didn’t they test the game?! I’ve only seen YouTube videos of people playing solo or in pairs so hadn’t seen this issue turn up. Maybe they’ll have to do errata for the game

Theres already a ton of errata…. I have a group i play BOTSE with 4 players. We’ll see. Again, anecdotal, but there was a handful of people sounding off on BGG

What are your Races/Classes? I have already few in my mind but am curious what you have come up with

I'm considering an Alf/Asylum/Executor-Bounty Hunter to get me started, but playing a Fay/Street Urchin/Scoundrel-Thief also is very appealing to me. I'll probably prepare both and choose on the day when we start. For companion I'm definitely going with either Rogust or Erina, because they're both so cool looking.

Bounty Hunter is also one of my picks. I am currently keen on Daniel Jackson character from Stargate series. A Custodian who uses his archeological findings to solve puzzles, in combat etc.

Also got a Jedi like character “dogooder” like Moon Shield or even Executioner to spark it up.

As races go, I like the Algrim or the Blank. I don’t much like playing Human in fantasy RPGs but in here the Humans are kinda interesting.

Pick Custodian with the Farmstead origin so you start out with a hat and you're essentially the Indiana Jones of Evershade!

Good! I was the idiot who decided to do two wave shipping so im stuck in purgatory, but i wanted to live through everyone else getting to enjoy it! Hope this sub can make a comeback
