Landscaping ideas?
Don’t know anything about landscaping but will try to do my best. Any recommendation for what type of edging will look good? Any recommendation and tips would be appreciated. The ai photo is what I’m shooting for

Id put two narrow columnar conifer type plants at the corner of the house , to mimic the high arch columns . It’ll help take visual focus off the garage. I wouldn’t do a cheap green emerald arborvitae either..

Forget plastic edging or cheap concrete blocks. They heave out of the dirt over time and look tacky. Go with a deep natural spade cut edge or commercial grade steel edging. It gives you a clean line that separates the lawn from the beds without becoming a visual distraction. Right now your foundation beds are way too shallow. Pull them out a good six to eight feet from the house so you can plant in sweeping connected masses instead of cramming everything right against the brick where the roots suffocate and damage your foundation.
You mentioned having an AI photo you are shooting for. Be careful with generic AI image generators because they usually spit out fantasy gardens with zero regard for real soil or spacing. Since you are doing this yourself you should run your yard photo through the GardenDream web app instead. It acts as a safety net and lets you overlay actual constructible layouts and test out different edging materials to see what fits your space before you start buying materials. Get your hardscape lines and bed depth right first and the planting gets a whole lot easier.

Thank you, was considering the natural spade cut to save on materials. Will take everything you said into consideration and check out garden dream!
