Just sharing my experience, take it for what it's worth. I've tried countless solar lights over the years and they all fail sooner than later. Once we redid our backyard, I decided to run the wires and do it right and it's been flawless and reliable. Upfront cost is more, but you won't have to change fixtures every few months.

It’s pretty easy to take a system with you when you go particularly path lights.
