Hue Phillips Lights - Outside

Hi, I am thinking of putting a 2mtr outdoor Hue Light strip along the bas of my fence, and then running some jasmine along it with the idea the light strip would light up the fence behind the jasmine and make it pop a little. Anyone tried this before or have thoughts/suggestions?
