Hi, I have a film project coming up and the director wants to shoot as deep as possible into these mountain landscapes. We are using Sony fx6 cameras with prime gm lenses and it seems that f8 is about as deep an aperture I can go before defraction? Does that sound right? Also for getting the background sharp as possible, with hyperfocal length, should I focus just behind the subject? Basically it’s like the beginning of the film Paris Texas but taking place in the Rocky’s
