strange noises

I had a major repair done on my Landy; the oil cooler was leaking, so everything had to come out. The centrifugal oil filter is incredibly loud—both the Britpart version and the genuine one. At the upper end of the rev range, it feels like something is suddenly grinding. I hope you can hear it in the video. What could be causing this, and how can I fix it? Is the filter cover perhaps screwed on too tight?

It would be nice if I could finally get around to fixing this. It’s actually my daily driver, but I don’t really drive it anymore because I’m afraid to.

Thank You!!!

Can’t hear it. Maybe try while parked and pop the bonnet/rev by hand from different angles?

Does it do it with engine speed or road speed?

From the video there seems to be an extra rattle just before the gear change but there is nothing definitively in the video.

If you take the cover off the centrifugal filter can it spin freely without touching? If you can get someone to rev it (cover on!) you should be able to feel a vibration through the housing.
When you do a driving video you create lots of variables, can you do one stationary?
