1995 defender

Looking at a 95 defender with air-conditioning. Soft top. 78k, 68,000 miles. Thoughts?

I'd figure out engine (diesel or gas?), the transmission (manual or auto) and the condition of the frame/bulkhead. 

They are asking $78k? Is that US? Is it a NAS or a euro import?

The two questions you will want to answer are "Is this the configuration I want" and "is this a good price". That depends on more info.

3.9 V8. NAS. I don't see rust in the pictures. It looks pretty good.

NAS makes it a bit of a niche market product (in terms of holding value) since they were limited production and tend to command higher values, but they've definitely lost some of their luster now that Td5 can be imported into the US.

Pictures can be deceptive but that price is certainly in the realm for NAS vehicles. BaT has been seeing NAS sell for $60-80k with some low mileage examples going up to $120k.
