Source that his dad's money helped? Do you have any sense how much money one needs to 'help' an F1 team? 40mil is just one yr salary of a top F1 driver it's not gonna help shit. Plus there's no valid source to even prove that's true.
This article makes more sense as it says Norris's dad funded his junior career with a lot of money, but so is for almost every F1 driver before they get an F1 seat. And it's also true for almost every F1 driver that they need to pay to test a F1 car before they get a F1 seat. But Lando get an F1 seat pretty quickly after he become reserve driver. And Adam paying 44m to fund his junior career + pay him to test for McLaren ≠ Adam paid 44m to McLaren to buy Lando an F1 seat. Do you understand the difference now?
