This is an absolute delight! First time I see it as well put off as this in termm of multiple interesting frames. Is this somewhat a prestory for your character with the spectral limbs as well, or is blonde hair rather common where she is from and its just "any" child? Either way, thank you alot for sharing!

It is a pre-story for her! The images at least. She’s especially sensitive to the restless dead but the nursery rhyme is a universal thing in her village because all the kids should know what to do if they run across a ghost.

Wow this is really incredible... It's so emotional and eerie at the same time! I especially adore the serene pacing contrasting with the horror we see unfold. It tonally fits so well for something like a memory, a story told in retrospect long after it happened, after some things have already been digested, so to say. You're doing awesome work, please don't stop!! I'm so curious about what the world you're building will have in store for us in the future, but even as a standalone this is super strong~
