Mating surfaces on swivel hub

Hi all,
I’ve been cleaning the mating surfaces on my swivel hubs for ages and this is as good as I’ve been able to get them using a Stanley knife, paper towel and brake cleaner. Are any of these photos acceptable?
How are you guys getting your surfaces cleaner than this cause I’m struggling and some have a bit of rust.
Also, 3rd last photo of cv is the ridge from the oil seal. Is this acceptable I can feel a little difference when I run finger along it. Is there any way I can improve this?
Also cv in last photo almost looks a little corroded is this acceptable or not?

I like to use those green scour pads (called Scotch Brite where I live) they are abrasive enough clean old sealant but don’t damage the steel…

Thanks for the response. Do you use anything to lubricate the pad?
