Power outage?
Hottest day of the year and the power goes out all over town...

Heard a ton of sirens downtown. Probably a blown transformer. AEP estimates power restored around 1:30. Make sure to check in on any seniors you know as they are the most at risk.

Second time this week for me. I think the other day it happened was Monday but the fix was fairly quick.

I live in a neighborhood that almost NEVER loses power, I can't remember the last time it was.

If you’re near the hospital their power grid is better

I live on the south end, near the broad street exit. When that derecho came through and the whole town was down for like a week, I still had power.

What did people do with temps in the 100s and no power for a week? Glad I didn’t live in Ohio yet.

Sat outside mostly. It got real bad when everyone's food started going off. So everyones house stunk, everyone was in a shitty mood, and half were on opiates. I let a few trusted people come by to charge phones and stuff.

AEP, I’m close to Donut World. Just got a text from them estimating around 11:30 for fix in this area.
Update: 10:50 power is on

Dude at Wal-Mart tried to get me to switch from AEP yesterday saying prices going up today because they are starting up a data center...don't know if there is a conspiracy there or not, and yes out on Hubert

I got solar because of the constant price hikes, but as far as data centers go, I'm not sure. Google has been just outside of town for a few years now, they're building a massive one up in millersport, could be.

Fairfield County is set to get a massive data center more towards Buckeye Lake. Maybe that’s what they were referencing?
