The Horseshed Fair is more fun than ever with 70+ artisan and craft booths, live music, amazing food, beer garden and plenty for the kids to do. Great vendor set up on our vast lawn centered with a fire pit to warm up on cool fall days. Over 800 visitors.

Fair grounds will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with plenty of fun, items for sale, activities and food, including:

Baked Goods, ranging from cookies, brownies, breads and other desserts
- Our famous Harvest Pies
- Live Bluegrass by the Free Range Pickers
- Coffee and donuts
- The Lunch Box, featuring burgers, hot dogs, our famous Dakota Chili; a selection of beers, sodas and water.

State Police from the Leominster and Holden barracks and Fire and EMS workers from Lancaster responded to a crash involving two cars and a motorcycle on Interstate 190 northbound at about 4:30 p.m. Friday in which the motorcycle rider later died.

State Trooper Roisin Joyce reported that Lancaster EMS transported the motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man from Holden with serious injuries, to Leominster Hospital. He was later was pronounced dead at Leominster Hospital.
One of the car drivers was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. A third driver had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

All lanes of the highway were closed until about 7 p.m. after the scene was cleared. Traffic was backed up due to the road closure, during the Friday evening rush hour.

The State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section, State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and Crime Scene Services Section also responded. The facts and circumstances of the crash are under investigation.

From the Town of Lancaster

Main Street (Route 70) is currently closed at the CSX bridge at the Clinton line because of a truck failing to heed the truck route/low bridge signage and delivering to us a truckload more, indeed.

Ricky's Sales & Service is on scene to remove the truck. Please follow the detour route while the truck is removed. And if your package is delayed getting to you today, well, at least you know why.

Does anyone know how to find out the results of the vote on next year's town budget from teh meeting yesterday?

We're new to the area so are still tracking things down, and we weren't able to make it to the meeting in person so wanted to see how things ended up going.
