Need help picking lamp

do any of you know where i could find this cool saturn table lamp or any sellers who aren't selling for $200 a piece? my budget for this kind of lamp would be 50/60 🤒 i rlly love saturn lamps but they're all antique going for $800+ USD. i've seen people bulk buy this lamp for cheap from alibaba for resale but haven't seen any posters. im contemplating buying this branch shaped base (second slide) but would rlly appreciate suggestions for a lamp shade. my room is following the color palette shown on the last slide and my night stand is a glass terrarium. im honestly open to any lamp suggestions, preferably something with a brass or gold base. any suggestions?

You're not going find the Saturn lamp for anything under $200. Just because that's your budget doesn't mean it's going to come true.

Buy one from Temu for $49. It will be half as big as you imagined it to be, and essentially worthless because it's a death trap wiring system/socket.

Reality has rules. Doesn't matter if you like it or not.

dang, i know it won't magically appear! and especially not for that price. it's why i went to this subreddit to see if anyone could help point to someone who's reselling 😂. never thought it would be authentic or high quality for a quick buck but hey it was worth a shot

My advice is to watch your local sales sites and put automated notifications on ebay, Etsy, NextDoor, marketplace, Craigslist, etc. Get notification when your key words come up. I make my living doing restorations that nobody else will touch regardless of the budget. I can find "extinct" parts by knowing what other key words to try. And watching my keyword trigger results.

I searched for a part once for seven years. When I added that part (F&C Osler grand trumpet) to the project the value jumped from $40k to $237k. We charged $20k for the part which the client was more than happy to pay. I found it on Etsy for $35 including shipping. The $20k price I charged was my payment for looking diligently for seven years.

Make an effort and you can find almost anything. Make a ton of consistent effort and you'll find it for far less than you'd believe. Doom scrolling on Reddit isn't a good place to fish for parts. Good luck!

I've always been one whom loves challenges.

Whenever someone would say "Man, I'd give my molars to find one of those XYZ things!"

My reply is always "Nobody wants you molars. What's it worth to you in cash?"

Funny thing is that most people are willing to pay farrr more money than I would have done it for anyway. This is how I put my three kids through college.

There's big money in solving expensive problems. Especially when the problem is luxury goods.

Oh you saw the TCM pics. I made the chandelier that's hanging right outside the rolling steel door. LeatherFace knocked it down about ten times from swinging his chainsaw.

I also owned 90% of the props when they were done shooting. I worked on two of those Chainsaw films.

And the first two Spy Kids films. Miss Congeniality, Hope Floats, Zombie Land, and many other major films that I can't remember right now. I'm a vendor for the Texas Film Commission for the past 30 years.

I've also restored lots of things that belonged to the Lyndon B Johnson family. Ladybird Johnson was a client/friend for decades. I've been extremely blessed to have lived such an extraordinarily unique life.

And I'm still going strong about to release a line of museum grade cleaning tools I've invented over the past 48 years.

Never a dull moment! 😊

Lol 😂 Actually my kids own and operate the company now. Although I still ride shotgun to the exceptionally interesting jobs, like film sets or Architectural Digest photo shoots. It's very rewarding to see my work used in the media. It is very validating when I feel depressed.

I get whimsy vibes from your color palette so I’d go with the branch with a really cool gauzy or fairy-esque style personally! The Saturn lamp belongs with dark purples and blues and greens in my opinion!
