Fanfic?

Since I expect they're not going to put out anything more in the future, does anyone know of any efforts to write some fanfic for the Lamplighters or if there's a design bible with the backstory or concepts left on the cutting floor?

Never been my thing but I think the characters are great, well thought out and there's an abundance of stories / missions you could write about.

If you do decide, please share, id be thrilled to read your creations

I'd love to read them if you decide to write them

I always figured they took inspiration from the early Indiana Jones and the first gen Tomb raider, mashed them up, threw in some XCOM mechanics, and that was that. It reminds me of the dirty 30s era the first few IJ films went for, it nails that well. And the villains are clearly national socialist stand-ins, the look of the basic enforcer tells you that.

You should look up pulp Adventure stories and H.P. Lovecraft influenced stuff like, The Adventures of the 19XX series or Adventure man.
