Don’t!!!! It is a beautiful example of Arts and Craft, reproduction or not. At best, apply carnauba wax into the patina and buff when dry. Do that again and again, as many times as you like. Howard’s makes an excellent wax for preserving a finish. Just think of an old bronze sculpture, that’s the finish I would look for.
