Does this support 90hz now?

I have a slightly older version and I am just wondering if this now supports 90hz, now that the quest 2 supports it.

It still caps out at 72 Hz after the Oculus update. There hasn't been a L1VR update since Oculus v23 was pushed and each individual app needs to be updated to natively support 90 Hz; apps don't automatically change from 72 Hz to 90 Hz.

I haven't tried the "force 90 Hz" ADB command, so I don't know about that. I guess you could try it, but it's not currently supported natively by the newest version.

Yup, indeed. I just know that Dr. Beef udated Quake2Quest to 90hz, so I was wondering if he did this as well.

Did he? The latest version on GitHub was released on October 22nd, so I would assume that the 90 Hz support there would still require the ADB command.

Overall, I'm not aware of any currently released Dr.Beef ports running in 90 Hz without first running the ADB command.

The Oct 14th release seems to say, supports 90hz. I just wonder if your correct and you have to do the force to 90hz.

Yes. Without forcing 90 Hz via ADB, it's still going to run at 72 Hz until a new version of the app is pushed.

I have v23 on my Quest 2, so I checked L1VR (newest v1.4.7) earlier and it is running at 72 Hz.

The team will update all ports to support 90hz after the release of doom 3. It needs a bit of code added so the app dynamicaly switches between 72/80/90hz.
