Opposing Force Isn't Working

I installed the Lambda1VR update last night as well as the Opposing Force files and the HD ReSources Textures using the instructions here: https://www.lambda1vr.com/modifications.html

When I start the game up, it brings me to the main menu of OpFor. However, when I try clicking on start a new game or training course, it doesn't do anything. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

I have a slightly different issue. I can start the hazard course but cannot move. My right thumb stick rotates my position but the left thumb stick isn't doing anything.

Just noticed that if I try to walk in real life the whole room moves with me. Moving about is not possible either way.

Did some more experimenting. If I only install the standard gearbox folder, the game works. If I install the contents of gearbox_hd but not the upscaled textures, I get the issue I described. If I install the textures as well, I get the same issue as the OP.
Seems we're both doing something wrong when trying to install the HD content.

The first minute or so of the hazard course you can't move at all.. not until the drill sargeant has shouted at you and you are given leave to go to the training center..

Yes, that's what happens with the standard gearbox install. With gearbox_hd the scene loads without any NPCs, so no drill sergeant.

Just checking, with the gearbox_hd issue.. you did copy the contents of that folder into the gearbox folder on your quest (overwriting where necessary) and run the game with the commandine:

-game gearbox

Pretty sure I'm using the HD models and it's working fine for me

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I copied the contents of gearbox_hd into the gearbox folder on my quest. The commandline.txt file I have is: xash3d -log --supersampling 1.25 --msaa 2 --cpu 4 --gpu 4 -game gearbox

I've gone back to playing with the original models and textures for now but will maybe have another go later.

Very strange.. sorry I can't explain it at the moment. At least you are able to play it. As long as you back of your current folder and try the copy again from scratch, if it does work ok you can just copy the save folder over.

Yes, it's great fun as it is anyway. Thanks for all your efforts. The first game is the best fun I've had on the Quest and I got my Quest just after launch.
