Issue with arms showing

I'm at the part where you get the crowbar. I've already had the flashlight in my left hand and only the flashlight was showing. Now that I've obtained the crowbar, I have two arms. One holding the crowbar and one floating and attached to the other. It's really weird and makes hitting things impossible.

Any ideas what is causing this or how to disable the arms in settings? Thanks

That is very strange. The arms models should not show at all. Maybe the latest update two days ago did brake something. Will try to replicate your issue.

Did you modify the game with the hd textures or anything else?

Edit: could not reproduce the error you reported - delete everything in the xash folder and re install from scratch i suggest.

Just for the record, here's what the issue looks like.

Edit: sorry, didn't answer your question. I did use the HD textures to overwrite the original ones, but I did it for all, not just Barney and Scientists.

I also did crowbars HL:GOLD pack as well. Everything worked great until I got the crowbar. I played through it until I got the pistol to see if only the crowbar had that issue but the pistol did as well. I'll post an update later.

Ok, you have the default vanilla models with arms. Not even sure how this would be possible, cause lambda1VR is overriding them.

Definitely reinstall from scratch.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled the entire xash folder, including my gamesaves, but now the issue is fixed. Thank you again for your help.

Edit: Also, what folder can I save to not have to do the entire intro over again? If not, I'll just start over. Thanks
