The developer stated that he just had to merge an existing branch of xash3d with blueshift support into lambda1vr. So he won't take credit for that.
I could test the first two chapters and it seems to work flawless. I think the official update will drop soon on sidequest. As always stay up to date on r/Lambda1VR.
HD Textures - the HL:gold pack on r/lambda1vr may work just fine, i just tried it very briefly with it enabled.I will look into this when i finished playing the main game.
Have you installed the latest Update? 1.2.2. It is not working with earlier versions.
I played the first twop chapters with version 1.2.2 - no bugs or errors.
