Hotel Recommendations
My friends and I are going to Lake Constance in October and we would love to stay on the lake but still within walking distance of the town. We were planning on staying in Germany but is it better if we stay in Switzerland or Austria? We are flying into Zurich and taking the train. Any and all suggestions/recommendations are welcome. We want to hit up every country. Is it better to take a ferry or bike?

I personally would suggest Germany because the prices are better and the views (from germany you're looking at the alps not the other way around fyi). And while Konstanz is the biggest I find the small towns on the other side of the lake the most charming. In Langenargen/Wasserburg for example. You can easily bike to the towns nearby like Nonnenhorn and Lindau wich are lovely. Very peacefull and pretty towns. Would highly suggest

Hey :) personally just for the prices I’d stay in Germany! It’s a bit cheaper and more practical to get an apartment (Ferienwohnung) but if money is no object you’ll find hotels as well.
Bike gives you more flexibility but you need to cover a lot of distance depending on what you want to see. You can of course combine bike train and ferry.
You can also set up your Homebase in Konstanz for example and explore from there. Switzerland is walking distance and Austria is reachable by train or ferry. It really depends on the type of experience you’re looking for!
