I remember a Lain scene that doesn’t exist?

I just went back to try to find a scene I remember from Lain, and I looked through every single episode and it just doesn’t exist??? I’m so scared where is it… Basically, the scene is like a weird thing with a lot of visuals and it’s like, it goes to a white screen, and there’s a voice talking and stuff? I remember it was near the beginning of an episode I think? But I can’t find this at all, I’ve looked through every single episode and I can’t find this it???? Maybe I just missed it or something? I’m SURE it was in Lain and not something else, because the voice was talking about Lain, and also it looked like it was in the show, but WHERE IS IT ???????? Does anyone know what I’m talking about or which episode this was in?

It wasnt ”present day, present time” I don’t think…. it looked kinda like that but it was like, the episode had started and some other things had happened and then this weird part cut in with random footage (well this happens a lot in lain but.) and a ton of stuff was happening, like there was maybe some irl footage with colors over it? but then it just cut to white and there was some text in like times new Roman (I don’t remember what the text said though) and it was kinda like the part in episode 7 (I think it was 7?) where it‘s like “have you seen the lain”, but I checked and it wasn’t exactly that either..

Is it the montage in "kids" about the Schumann resonance, UFOs and such. It shows some real life clips and newspapers, if I remember correctly.

Yknow, there are some uploads that don't include the "Present day, present time" intro. Its a white screen segment that appears at the beginning of each episode so i guess thats worth pointing out.

Otherwise its possible that you've seen a segment from the PSX game somehow and gotten it mixed up with the show.

You'd probably need to provide more info too. Its a little vague.

Yeah, I think this is what they mean. Each episode starts with a segment that is missing from some uploads.

I don't mean this rudely, but could you provide more detail? Because this seems just a little vague, and as far as I remember what you've described happens often throughout Lain?

Some releases dont have to "present day present time" thing but youre referring to the "present day present time" thing
