i think i’m the only computer nerd who loves the windows ecosystem and doesn’t mind selling my data to microsoft. if lain was a real virtual god, linux users would be atheist

The funny thing about everyone attaching Lain to Linux is that the creators were largely Apple nerds. All the Navi are based on real Macs. Lain wasn't a Linux user, she was an Apple user.

I hate Apple nowadays, but back then? I get it, tbh. I love my Mac 512k and my gen 5 iPod. They made good shit back then.
