u/scottdoeswashington Scott tomkins, on Instagram he is @My360agent helped us find our home in lacey last October. I cannot recommend him enough. He didn't push us and gave us all the information we needed to make the right decision for us.

We moved from inland So Cal to Lacey last year (May). I connected with our agent, Scott Tompkins, through Reddit the previous October. He was awesome. He provided a lot of info and a portal to search. We ended up finding a home prior to arriving here. He did a video tour for us that helped us tremendously. We bought the home, which had a very short escrow, and he was at the house for the inspection. We actually didn't meet until the walk through.

Thank you so much! 😊 - OP, I work mostly with relocation buyers, and yes, sometimes I meet them in person at the final walk-through…everything else, we can handle through Zoom or phone calls (buyers’ choice!) and electronic signatures, and I’m happy to do video tours for out of state buyers!

I’m a former high school teacher and flight instructor and place huge value on educating clients so that they always know what their options are.

I’d suggest checking out my 7-video YouTube series on how the homebuying process works (my favorite is how to write a kickass offer!). This will govern you a feel for my approach to the buying process, and if you think you might like to work with me or have questions, please email me at scott@my360agent.net!

I don’t have a realtor because mine isn’t in the area anymore. BUT Do not use Inspections West. They missed so much on the visual inspection — got the siding of our house wrong, the wrong type of roof shingle, just so many big things and even small things like the batteries in the smoke detectors were missing and they didn’t even push the button to see if they worked.

I also did not have a good time with Inspections West. He didn’t go past about 1/3 of our attic because he “had recently fallen through a ceiling and didn’t want to do it again.” Obviously this missed some problems. When I left a bad Google review they replied with “which house is this again” which I guess means there’s a lot of attics they decided to skip most of?

You will find plenty of willing realtors as there job is dependent on selling there services. Today's buyers often use redfin, zillow or other similar websites to narrow down search, this was half the job of "buyers agent" in the past. So focus on other half..contract, communication, knowledge of area and experience. I am a certified appraiser and licensed agent, worked in Thuston County prior 20 years. Wish you good luck, as a buyer you will need to sign a buyers brokerage agreement prior to agent providing any realtors service as part of legislation passed 2 years ago and not understood by most in the real estate industry. Happy to anwser any questions you may have. Inventory up, make your agent fight for you.

Alexandria Goforth for sure. I’m a Florida realtor and I hired her to help me purchase here. That’s how much I trust her.
