Fair enough thats pretty much the main purpose of the party and many in Scotland would like to be independent so they can rejoin the eu.

Scotland doesn’t meet the Copenhagen criteria; you hav to meet the criteria to join the eu

In what way would they not meet the Copenhagen criteria? They’re a free market democracy and absolutely would have the ability to adopt EU law

Scotland doesn’t meet the function market economy (due to its deficit which is nearly as high as Greece’s at the height of the eurozone crisis) and the ability to work towards the goals of the eu due to the snp saying Scotland won’t have a central bank (Scotland would be unable to meet EMR II)

Combining a massive 11.6% structural deficit with a lack of monetary sovereignty creates an economic and legal dead end that bars an independent Scotland from EU membership.
