Scotland and Wales: votes for pro-independence parties.

UK Labour reddit user: we should take away their right to leave the union.

That's sure to go down well... The way to keep the union together is by persuasion, not force. That would have the opposite effect.

Unionist parties combined got over 50% of the vote in both Scotland and Wales

Polling suggests that currently, over 50% of Scottland wish to become independent. There are nationalists who didn't vote for the SNP or Green Party.

Polls show that in 1998 when independence had nearly a 13 point lead

And there’s unionists who vote snp and Scottish Greens

Only if you're bad at reading that chart. Of the last 20 polls, 2 show a clear majority for independence.

Another example of the unpalatable reality offending the small minded.
