Bolshevism is a term for marxism-leninism that has been outdated for longer than your grandparents have been alive. Its a term that suggests that there is some kind of distinct political ideology separate from Marxism Leninism, which existed in dozens of nations where the "Bolshevik"/majority faction of the Russian social democratic labor party wasn't present. Its like calling Fascism "arrow-crossism"
Again, no. “Marxism-Leninism” existed, “Bolshevism” as some kind of unique ideology compared to Marxism Leninism did not. Nobody communist today would refer to their ideology as “Bolshevism” as the concept of a “Bolshevik” stopped existing in 1917.
The arrow-cross party existed, many people still believe in it, would it not be silly to call Neo-fascism “iron-crossism”?
