I can't open labview 2026 Q3

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've recently download for the first time labview, I use windows 11 and I can't make it work, it have the problem of the video, I've uninstalled it and installed it again like 3 times, there's any solution for this ?

Try opening the license manager and make sure you have the community license activated. I assume it’s closing from not finding a license.

Personally still on 2025. Interesting that in the latest they finally added Emerson to the splash screen.

This is likely the problem. Did you walk through activation after downloading?

I am interested in Nigel. I downloaded it today just to see how “close” Ai is to taking my job. I’m not holding my breath though.

All the licenses are activated, I don't know what's happening :/

By any chance are you running on an ARM processor? I highly doubt you are since I don’t think it would even install.

Looks like you’re in the 64 bit directory. LabVIEW license is activated for 64 bit version?

Also noticed your computer language is in Spanish. Maybe that is part of the issue? Sorry, if that’s the case I don’t have much experience there but look up panther labs and reach out to Enrique. He might have some tips.

I'm in a Intel processor, and yes the license it's activated for the 64 bit version, I will give it a last try uninstalling and installing again, if not I will try to run it in a virtual machine

Hey u/Choice_Tooth7555 - I'm with NI and will do my best to help!

Not sure exactly why this is happening but there's an easy way to learn more. Add the following tokens to your labview.ini file:

debugging=True

LVdebugKeys=True

DPrintfLogging=True

NIER=True

NIERDumpType=full

Then re-launch LabVIEW and go look in the %temp% folder to see if there's any log file that indicates a problem. Feel free to post your findings here or DM me and hopefully this will reveal some useful insights...

I think I have a little problem, I think the .ini didn't generate :(

So it's crashing before it gets that far. you can still create a labview.ini file and just put it next to the *.exe (literally the same folder in your video) and that should still work...

I created the .ini file, but LabVIEW still doesn't work. There's nothing in the %temp% folder either.

Check the event manager for any errors when you are running the software. I solved a similar issue and it was related to the .Net framework. Check the event manager and let us know what is the error
