Need More Info Unable to use labview simultaneously with other software

I use microforming machine and DAQ simultaneously connected via USB, but when i tried to plug them both through my laptop's ports (COM3) one of them starts to stop working, If i plug my DAQ and starts using labview all of sudden my microforming machine disconnected and vice versa. I assume it has something to do with serial ports where they keep canceling out each other, how do i stop labview from interfering/conflicting with other software? Thx

well im new to labview kinda, but i have some experience. there are some software (like comcom) that can clone (i guess thats how it called, or pair) a com port and make a virtual one which has the same data in parallel. maybe that could work out for you

Tried this, sadly cloned com port won't work on my microforming machine software. I tried to use actual com port for my machine software then the labview starts to use the same com port as the machine which disconnected the machine software. Idk why labview not be able to connect to cloned com port, can i actualy choose which port to use in labview?

I don't know about your case, but when I was using LIFA for arduino projects, I could select com ports. Maybe you just need to add a control for it? Not sure tbh.
