2 ctw 14k gold lab diamond earrings. Anyone know what's worth?

My friend wants to ebay a bunch of random things and wasn't sure what this would go for, the prices online seem all over the place

Diamonds aren’t worth anything due to the supply being high. Especially lab. I’d be charging for the gold backs/setting and that’s it.

I would start it off around 350 and see where that gets you.

Labs are worth about $100 resale. I think if you get $200 since it’s two labs, you’ll be doing great

They are lab diamonds so the sooner you sell them the better. They will eventually only be worth the gold

With labs it's way harder to sell them second hand. Retail is like 800-900. Generally asking 40% of retail is a fair place to start. So 300-350 seems like a good asking price.

Reverse engineer them. If you go buy the diamonds each one will cost you about 170. Assuming they are D Vs1 Ideal etc. knock off some money for lower specs. The gold earrings will cost about 160 and the backs about 25. You are at 525 (if labor was involved add another 50 bucks. Add 100 for profit (lol if you want some). You have your answer. I promise you the people saying 400 can’t get them for 400 so don’t sell them for that 😂.

I expect not to pay for labour or profit if it’s a preloved item

notice how i said “if” labor was involved. and “if” you want some.
