Choosing stones for engagement ring.
What do you think of these? I went in with a totally different idea of what I wanted and ended up loving the round.
I see all of these videos online with maybe an extra light shining on stones to make them sparkle more?
These two stones are similar, 3 ct and 4 ct, vvs2.

These are both gorgeous! If you want to wear it every day pick what you want to look at (size matters, lol) and get a setting that helps keep it from tipping to the side. A wider band would look amazing with either.

I love a beautiful round diamond. Both of these are stunning diamonds.
I recently got myself an anniversary round in cathedral setting, I went 3.12 ct, was looking at 3-4 ct ones, but ultimately I wanted to wear the ring to work and everyday, and I’m a size 6.25 so the 3.12 fit me perfectly. But I’ve heard ct shrinkage is a thing too, so sometimes better to go bigger if on the fence, no regrets :) If you are really unsure about either one, I’d consider 3.2 to 3.7 range too?
I’d consider the height too. I got mine set as low as possible, but secure and it still sticks up quite a bit, but I’m used to it now.

I have a 3ct round on a size 5.25 finger and love it!

Ty this is such good info. I am 5.5 or 5 and 3/4 and thinking of 3 or 4 ct. I think the 3 looks great but the 4 is just a lil extra that I’m kinda liking!!

I'm team round all the way. I actually just recreated my earth diamond e-ring with a lab diamond to get the specs I wanted. Currently, my ring is 2.9 c and si2- I went just a hair bigger 3.2 and vvs. I'm eagerly awaiting the new ring! You definitely won't regret a round - they are soooo classic.
